Hello World! Welcome to the world of “Lena Time,” aka my life. I hope you’re excited to start this journey with me. I feel like I have been ready to begin this blog and share my life with you all for many moons. I’m finally done with making excuses as to why I don’t have time to start a blog and have decided to take that leap forward and do things that I am passionate about and excite me. I am looking forward to giving a glimpse into my life and letting you get to know me. In this blog, I plan on taking you along to the fun places I go and adventures I embark on. I plan on sharing fashion, art, and just some overall good pictures with you.
Some fun random facts about me: I consider myself a donut enthusiast. I love taking artsy pictures. I go crazy for good latte art. My idea of a perfect night in would be catching up on my Youtube subscriptions. I thoroughly enjoy board games.
Anyways, I hope that was sufficient for a quick introduction. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I guess we should just get started and dive in! This week I had the opportunity to spend a few days in one of my favorite cities in the world… San Diego!
I absolutely love the culture and the sights of this beautiful place. There’s just a totally laid-back feeling that engulfs me when being there. Thankfully, I only live about an hour from this city, so I can go pretty frequently. This weekend one of my best friends and I were able to explore this amazing city… and such a fun-filled time it was! As me and my friend are both HUUUUGE coffee snobs, of course we had to find the most hipster coffee shop in the city. We went to Coffee and Tea Collective, which is located in the North Park neighborhood.
Latte art, coffee, and succulents. Yes please. Whenever I go to coffee shops, I like to try their lattes just because I don’t really enjoy black coffee, and also because I love the latte art! Big bonus points for places which have the cutest little succulents on the table.
Minimalism.
I love the minimalist feel that this place entails. The wall decor was very aesthetically pleasing, and of course I had to take a shot of this beauty! The sign on the middle right-hand side of this picture says it best: “Your grind is so fine.” Why yes, Coffee and Tea Collective, yes it is. I wish I could have shown you the entire store-front, but I feel like this wall gives you quite a good picture of this place.
After getting our caffeine fix, it was time to walk around North Park and browse all the cute boutiques and art. The walls and sidewalk was filled with street art. Of course, I had to take advantage of this background and snap a few pics. The colors of this art was quite appealing to the eye if I do say so myself! I had to take a shot of me and my friend and put it side-by-side.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this first little journey I have taken you along on. Here’s to many, many more. 🙂
xoxo,
Lena
