Hello my favorites! Who else is happy that winter is over?! This girl is! Even though the weather is never very extreme here in California, I think I will always be more of a summer-lovin’ type of girl. I mean sun-kissed skin, wind-blown hair.. what’s not to love.. right?! Summer has definitely has arrived here and I have been absolutely dying to go to the beach from the moment the sun got just a little hotter.

There’s something so calming and peaceful about being close to such a huge body of water. Listening to the waves and feeling the sand beneath your feet is one of the best feelings in the world. It makes me feel so small and my problems so trivial when I think about how the ocean just wraps around the entire world. It definitely puts things into perspective for me. When you’re in its presence just living in the moment it’s as though nothing else really matters. I’d like to call it a breath of fresh air. Even though I’m not much of an outdoors-y type of person, I spend hours here and never seem to tire of it. From sand to rocks to water, there’s just so much to see. 

Being only a few miles away from this beauty all the time is really exciting. I have a feeling that I will finally be able to get my tan back in the next few months! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to soak up that Vitamin D.

It was really nice to be able to spend the day with one of my best friends. I’m always down for having good quality time with friends. Of course, we had to show off our new shirts and twin in them. Don’t be fooled– the shirt definitely speaks the truth…do not bother me before I have my coffee! People noticed our matching shirts…so I would say we definitely got the point across, wouldn’t you? 🙂

 After wandering around the area I suppose you could say that we lived life on the edge… of this rock…that we were sitting on. Anyways, keep on exploring wherever you may be and never take for granted all the sights around you!
