los angeles adventures.

 Hello and Happy Saturday!

I finally made it back out to LA to continue my adventuring and exploring that I’ve been wanting to do but haven’t gotten around to in recent months. I feel like every corner is filled with so much art and picture perfect places. It’s just a little unfair… 😛

Of course, my adventuring always encompasses quite a bit of food… Which of course translates into my never-ending love for desserts and coffee!

First stop of the day… Alfred’s Coffee. Now I’m not quite sure if this place was created with me in mind… Or if if was absolutely created with me in mind but can I say that every corner of this lovely coffee shop screamed my name.

It was so picturesque from the interior to the most adorable outdoor seating that I couldn’t even handle. I could definitely picture myself living here if I lived just a tad bit closer. Unfortunately, Melrose is quite a distance so that it would be quite the inconvenience.

Do you see this beautiful art?! Yes Alfred, but first coffee please. Stumptown coffee is served here, and although there is a Stumptown location in LA, I prefer Alfred’s.  Now that I was wide awake, it was time to find some ice-cream. During summer months, my obsession for ice-cream seems to grow exponentially.

Milk… The place that everyone has been raving about for the last few years… It’s just a macaroon ice-cream sandwich, correct? WRONG. This amazing concoction are macaroons that are the closest texture to chewy delicious cookies wrapped around rich and creamy flavors.  I mean it’s kind of obvious why I have an indecisiveness disorder (I’m joking, but it should definitely exist when it comes to this place). I mean, do you not see those flavors? Heaven. That is all. Whoever painted this beautiful piece of art, I adore you. The struggle was so real as I was driving and scouting out all these beautiful walls that I wanted to screech on my brakes and get in front of. To bask in its glory…. No but really, the art around this city is phenomenal. I will return to find more cool walls soon, LA. Don’t you worry.

Xoxo,

Lena
